Traveler Guitar's Best Gets Better :

02-01-2008

EG-1 Line of Lightweight Electrics Gets Colorful Upgrade with Beautiful Mahogany, Flamed Maple and Vintage Racing Stripes

Everyone likes a nice body - whether on a luxury automobile, fine wine or significant other.  The new body options for Traveler's most popular model, the EG-1, aren't just nice, they're spectacular.  Without changing the acclaimed EG-1 size or shape, Traveler Guitar is offering visual choices that will attract both purists and the playful.

The Mahogany EG-1 options range from classic black and red to the beautiful natural wood color.  Having  Mahogany body and neck makes the already manageable guitar even more lightweight and road-worthy.

A real AAA Flamed Maple top on the Flame EG-1 in red or black makes the instrument look as powerful as it sounds.

But the hands-down stunner of the bunch is the Racing Stripe EG-1.  Just like a muscle car, the striped detail adds a classic coolness factor to an already cool guitar.  Blue metallic with a vintage off-white stripe, silver metallic with a blue stripe and yellow with a black stripe - all unique, head-turning combinations adding to how good it feels to play this guitar.

Traveler Guitar, headquartered in Redlands, California is enjoying its 15th year in business, helmed by Corey Oliver since 1996.   Through perseverance, impeccable customer relations and an adherence to quality, Oliver has led the company to success and profit, with manufacturing outlays in China and dealer distribution in Canada, Mexico, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Australia, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, Italy and the U.K. with a high traffic dealer at Heathrow Airport.

Said Oliver, "We've set the standard for what portable instruments should look, feel and sound like.  These new guitars look sharp, feel comfortable and sound exceptional on the road and on the stage.  We've named our products very intentionally, "Traveler" to mean portability and "Escape" to transport players, both physically and emotionally.  We're as proud to sell these guitars as our customers are to own them."

The sense of community among owners is evidenced at travelerguitar.com.  Images from owners populate the Photo Lounge: globe-trotters such as mobile musician Vern Tejas, who has documented his Traveler Guitar travails to all seven continents including a hike to the peak of Mount Everest, father and son duos, airline pilots, businessmen in China, boaters in Greece, vacationers in Paris and United States servicemen all over the world.  Joining the core customer base are exalted luminaries from the music community including Andy Summers, John Fogerty, Jon Anderson and Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler as well as from rock's new crew including players from Fall Out Boy, Simple Plan, No Doubt and Matchbox 20.
