West End Theatre in the spotlight during Summer of London

London, June 2012: The website for London Theatre, westendtheatre.com, has launched its annual “Dine for Free” summer promotion (www.westendtheatre.com/dineforfree), offering thousands of free meals in West End restaurants when booking tickets to see a show.

Major musicals and plays featured in the “Dine For Free” promotion include smash-hit West End shows Ghost The Musical, Sweeney Todd, Shrek The Musical, Rock of Ages, Mamma Mia!, We Will Rock You, Jersey Boys, Wicked, Les Miserables, Blood Brothers, Chicago, Dreamboats and Petticoats, The Woman in Black and Thriller Live.

With dinner and show packages starting at only £20.12 for tickets and a meal, the promotion provides exceptional value during London’s forthcoming big summer of festivities. Many of the exclusive packages also offer ticket discounts alongside the free meal, including Thriller Live dinner packages from £29.50 (ticket face-value normally £45.50) and Dreamboats and Petticoats from £20.12 (ticket face-value normally £40).

Top restaurants in the promotion include some of the tastiest places to eat in the city including Christopher’s American Grill, Porters English Restaurant, Wheelers of St James, L’Escargot, Planet Hollywood and Covent Garden Grill.
A table reservation is automatically made in the restaurant when the package is booked, and all restaurants have been chosen for their high-quality and proximity to the theatre. Many of the packages include a choice of either pre or post theatre dining, allowing customers to choose whether to eat before or after the show.

Publisher of Westendtheatre.com, Paul Raven, said: “This year’s “Dine For Free” summer promotion is the most ambitious we have ever put together, offering unbeatable value to UK and overseas visitors to London just as the world’s attention is focused on the Capital.”
