Between serving as a chauffeur, tutor, soccer coach, and about a dozen other roles, being a parent can be exhausting leaving little time for a parent’s night out – after all, finding available childcare can often be an uphill battle in and of itself.  Beginning Thursday, November 3, 2011, The Clifton Inn invites parents to enjoyDate Night in the inn’s celebrated dining room. While Mom and Dad enjoy chef Tucker Yoder’s exquisite garden American cuisine highlighting the bounty of fresh local Virginia ingredients, the kids can enjoy an evening in Clifton’s living room filled with movies, games, coloring, and books while under the watchful eye of Clifton’s own certified babysitter.
 
This complimentary service is available to both local Charlottesville area residents as well as hotel guests on Thursday nights provided the parents remain on property for dinner. Parents may opt to order a separate meal for children upon their arrival, or are welcome to send along their own food for children to enjoy The Clifton Inn’s casually elegant quarters.
