BOCA RATON RESORT GOES GREEN WITH DISTINCTIVE PACKAGE

FOR WYLAND LIVING GREEN FAIR NOVEMBER 5-6

 

Third annual Wyland Living Green Fair with internationally-renowned marine life artist Wyland, Performances, Movies & Unique Eco Activities, Plus Sustainable Wine Dinner

 

 

BOCA RATON, Fla. – (August 31, 2011) – Boca Raton Resort & Club has joined with marine life artist Wyland and his Wyland Foundation to celebrate the Wyland Green Living Fair November 5-6, 2011, in Boca Raton’s Mizner Park.  A special Boca Resort package includes two nights in deluxe accommodations from $150 per night for November 4-6, 2011.

 

Children ages 3-12 will have the opportunity to channel their own inner Wyland artist with special marine art projects in half- or full-day sessions designed just for them at Camp Boca**.  A sustainable wine tasting with organic wines and dinner will be held Friday, November 4 at Lucca Restaurant at 7:30 pm.

 

Organic wines will include sustainably produced Wyland wines, featuring signature Wyland-designed marine life labels. Organic wines will be paired with a menu prepared by Chef Adam Pile, with an emphasis on fresh, sustainable catches of the day.

 

Brian Cuddy, owner of The Organic Cellar in Laguna Beach, California, and Organic Cellar Plus in Deerfield Beach, Florida, will be on hand to talk about organic wines.

 

The cost for the Wyland Sustainable Wine Dinner, with a special celebrity appearance by Wyland, is $125 per person.

 

The 2011 Wyland Living Green Fair, an interactive community experience designed to inspire creative commitment to preserving healthy oceans and waterways, will feature three days of engaging activities, art displays, stage performances, cooking demonstrations, an organic beer and wine garden, and eco fashion show, a unique kid zone, the Wyland Mobile Learning Center, Wyland’s Extreme Clean Water Maze, Wyland mural paintings and more. 

 

In addition to exploring the Eco Fair, guests will have ample opportunity to enjoy a world of recreation on the resort’s 356-acre tropical paradise, including seven swimming pools, championship golf and tennis, the award-winning Spa Palazzo, and 13 dining and entertainment venues.
