DAY 1 USA
Depart from the US on your overnight flight to Italy.
DAY 2 Venice
Arrival into Venice, Italy! Free day to relax and enjoy this magical city. Welcome dinner. Overnight stay at a Venetian Villa.
DAY 3 Venice City and Mask Making
Enjoy a morning walking tour of Venice. Afternoon activities include a visit to the famous Murano Glass factory and a Mask Making class.
DAY 4 Venice - Tuscany
Mid-morning departure for your Tuscan Villa.
Arrive at the Villa in the afternoon and enjoy some time to relax before your welcome dinner.
DAY 5 Tuscany - Florence
After breakfast at the Villa, we journey to Florence. Stroll down cobblestone lanes, through majestic squares and across ancient bridges, pausing along the way to learn about Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, the cathedral and Giotto’s bell tower and the Accademia. Afternoon optional visit to the Children’s Museum. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the Villa.
DAY 6 Tuscany - Family Cooking Class!
Breakfast. Morning free to walk in this wonderful small town. This afternoon, your family will enjoy a fun Tuscan cooking class including dinner!
DAY 7 San Gimignano and Volterra
After breakfast, depart for a visit to mystical San Gimignano. Stop for a light lunch at a local farm. Continue on to Volterra, the stunning Etruscan-style city which served as an inspiration for author Stephanie Myers Twilight series book “New Moon.” Dinner and overnight at your Tuscan Villa.
DAY 8 Tuscany – Assisi - Rome
Breakfast at Villa. Departure for Rome. Stop in Assisi for guided tour. Continue to Rome for dinner and overnight at your Roman Villa!
DAY 9 Rome
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy your Vatican tour with a private guide. Guided visit of Vatican Museums, including the Sistine Chapel. At the end of the tour, visit St. Peter’s Basilica to see “Pieta” by Michelangelo.
Lunch on our own. After lunch, your tour continues with a walking guided tour of the Roman Squares. On to the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain (remember to throw a coin into the fountain in order to return to Rome). Overnight at Villa.
Day 10 Rome - Free Day
Free day to explore the eternal city! Enjoy shopping, sightseeing or an optional pizza making class. Festive farewell dinner in a traditional Roman Trattoria, Perillo-style!
Day 11 Arrivederci!
