Smoke-Free Paris?
On January 1, France extended their smoking ban to include hotels, restaurants, cafes, bars and nightclubs. It will be interesting to see if Parisians, notorious for flaunting the law, will indeed extinguish their cigarettes in a nod for cleaner air and less lung cancer. Smokers still are able to light up at tables outside which may make it even more difficult to find a table at one of those charming outdoor cafes along Boulevard Saint Germain.
