DOT publishes dramatic new passenger rights regulations — leaves out legal rights and full fee disclosure

The DOT released their rulemaking regarding a broad swath of passenger rights. Everything from new overbooking (bumping) fines being increased and tarmac-delay regulations being extended to foreign carriers to a mandate for better customer service plans and full-fare advertising were enhanced in what is the most sweeping change to passenger protections since deregulation.
