Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Maldives Reopens Presidential Suite

03-23-2011

Newly Redesigned Rehendi Presidential Suite, Ultimate Over-Water Private Hideaway

INDIA (March 22, 2011) - The Maldives have always been synonymous with romance.  However, the $400,000 renovation of Taj Exotica Resort & Spa's Rehendi Presidential Suite, which has just re-opened, now offers couples the ultimate private over-water hideaway at the Maldives’ most exclusive retreat.

Seclusion-seeking couples can now step from their suite onto a private 500-square-foot sand-deck, which stretches into the largest lagoon in the Maldives.  Guests can also marvel at the ocean-life from their glass-walled bathroom. With open-air spaces for intimate relaxing and dining, a 15-foot infinity pool, and hammocks in which to sip cocktails, guests can unwind in style and solitude.

The suite has been expertly remodeled by the Singapore-based design firm James Park Associates to create elegant interiors, fittingly reflecting the name “Rehendi,” which translates to "queen."

The Rehendi Suite begins at approximately $5,500 USD per night.  For more information please visit tajhotels.com.
