L’Avion Celebrates First Anniversary

New YorkJanuary 3, 2007 - L’Avion, the first all business class French airline, celebrates today the first anniversary of the airline’s launch.  As of January 3, 2008, L’Avion has transported more than 34,000 passengers, and has experienced an average load factor of 79% (December) and an average on-time departure rate of 91% for 2007.

Introduction of the Second Aircraft – January 20, 2008

 

L’Avion’s second aircraft will be comparable to the first airplane, an all business class Boeing 757-200, configured with 90 seats instead of the traditional 200.  This additional aircraft will have its inaugural L’Avion flight between Orly and Newark airports on January 20, 2008. 

 

With the introduction of the second aircraft in January, L’Avion will begin doubling flight frequency between Paris and New York, beginning with a second flight on Friday and Sunday, and further additional flights to come by Summer 2008. 

 

L’Avion is currently offering a January promotion, with round trip business class tickets from just $1,290[*].
