EXCEPTIONAL COTTAGE LIVING AND REINVIGORATING RETREATS COME WITH HIDDEN POND'S THIRD SEASON OF YANKEE HOSPITALITY IN KENNEBUNKPORT, ME

KENNEBUNKPORT, ME ˆ May 26, 2010 ˆ Exceptional cottage living and reinvigorating retreats come with Hidden Pond‚s third season of Yankee hospitality in Kennebunkport, ME, this summer.

Along with celebrating the grand opening of its third season this week, Hidden Pond announces that it has added a number of new programs and activities for guests to enjoy over the coming months. Nestled amongst 60 acres of balsam and birch groves in coastal Maine Hidden Pond is a remarkably unique New England retreat where guests enjoy 14 exquisitely detailed, two-bedroom cottages, each telling a story through the eyes and hands of some of Maine‚s top interior designers.

Families will have access to the new Kids Camp available for children ages three to 12.  Nature hikes, beach safaris and scavenger hunts provide hours of entertainment and exposure to the natural beauty of the Maine coastline.

Enthusiasts of Thai Chi and yoga will delight in Hidden Pond‚s classes, which are practiced poolside or alongside the property‚s organic farm.  For the inspiring artist, water color classes taught by the resort‚s resident artist are also enjoyed at the Farm.  For an extra touch of pampering, guests may retreat to the tented forest spa, where an array of treatments sooth tired souls.

In spring 2011 Hidden Pond will unveil its extensive expansion which will add an additional seven two-bedroom cottages and 26 one-bedroom cottages, each carrying on the tradition of flip flop chic design.  Also included in the expansion will be the arrival of a new full-service spa (due to popular demand the tented spa will remain) and a restaurant, which promises to feature the freshest of fare focusing on ocean-to-table and farm-to-table cuisine.
