Montreal, December 5, 2007—Travelers from across the globe are invited to give their senses a real treat this winter in North America’s French-speaking metropolis.  With its ninth edition slated for February 21 to March 2, 2008, the MONTREAL HIGH LIGHTS Festival is better equipped than ever to win the hearts of visitors from all over the world.  With a full range of activities, including the Air France Wine and Dine Experience presented by American Express, the Festival’s food and wine series; performances showcasing every sphere of the arts presented by Sun Life Financial Performing Arts; a multitude of free outdoor activities for the whole family during the Celebration of Light; the nocturnal celebrations of the Montreal All‑Nighter; and the one‑of-a-kind Montreal Downtown & Underground Event, this urban winter event is sure to make everyone fall in love with winter all over again.  The Festival will be offering several packages to ensure this is an unforgettable winter getaway.  

MONTREAL HIGH LIGHTS Travel Packages

The Montreal High Lights Festival travel packages enable out-of-town guests to take full advantage of the event and enjoy everything the city has to offer. Dozens of new hotels have enlisted as partners and the number is expected to double in time for the Festival. All participating lodging establishments—from B&Bs to four-star hotels—offer the Festival Kit with their travel packages, which includes (per person):

·         a fleece scarf

·         a Passeport Privilèges for the Casino de Montreal (worth up to approximately $20)

·         a coupon for a wine & cheese tasting at the SAQ Bistro (on site, in the Old Port)
