China Spree Offers Discounts Up to $500 on China Delights Tour

Blaine, WA, February 26,, 2010—China Spree Travel, known for “first-class travel at bargain prices” is offering an additional $200 discount on its 10-night China Delights Tour for departures in March, a $500 discount  for departures April 1 to October 31 and a $300 discount on departures in November, 2010.  The trip must be booked by March 31 in order to get this discount.

The 10-night China Delights Tour includes Beijing, Suzhou, Tongli, Hangzhou and Shanghai.  The price covers non-stop air from San Francisco or New York to Beijing on Air China, centrally-located first-class hotels with private bath, daily American breakfasts, most other (Chinese) lunches and dinners, all transportation in China, sightseeing tours with entrance fees, special evening shows, an expert tour director, local guides, baggage handling and special culinary events such as a Peking duck dinner and a traditional Mongolian barbecue lunch.

In addition to the standard Beijing sites, China Spree provides lunch with a Chinese family and a rickshaw tour of Beijing’s picturesque old neighborhoods.  In fabled Suzhou, the “Venice of the East,” there’s a visit to a classical garden and in beautiful Hangzhou, there’s a cruise on West Lake and a visit to a tea plantation.  In cosmopolitan Shanghai, where the hotel is located in the French Concession, a program of contrasts is included: modern landmarks and the Old Shanghai Bazaar.  Unlike many other tours, China Spree also allows a free day in Beijing and Shanghai for shopping, sleeping in or indulging in an American cheeseburger.

The China Delights tour departs almost weekly throughout the year, with varied prices. In March, the price is $1,299 from San Francisco, $1,599 from New York.  In April and May it is $1,899 from San Francisco, $2,199 from New York.  The June price is $2,099 and $2,399, and from July to the end of October, it goes down again to $1,899 and $2,199.  These prices include the standard “cash discount.”   The $200, $500 and $300 special discounts are additional (but do not apply to “land only” rates).  Land-only rates and single supplements  are available.

All prices quoted are per person, double occupancy, are subject to availability, and do not include departure taxes and the fuel surcharge of $314 from San Francisco, $322 from New York.  Add-on air fares are available from other U.S. cities.
