Hawaii.com Goes Upscale

02-09-2010

Hawaii.com
Goes Upscale,  Releasing a High-End, Slick Magazine

Honolulu, (Feb. 9, 2010) – The experts at Hawaii.com are passionate about Hawaii and continue to look for ways to better communicate with their guests. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of this popular website, Hawaii.com is going to launch a high-end, slick printed magazine.

For the past two years, Hawaii.com has published a very popular online magazine in a format that duplicates the real thing. But their readers wanted more: They wanted a hands-on magazine, chock full of information that they could display in their coffee tables.

In response, Hawaii.com is going to print such a magazine. It will feature interesting stories and valuable consumer information accompanied by gorgeous island photography.

Quality will be the key. People who visit Hawaii are serious vacationers who generally want upscale experiences. This magazine will provide them the information they need to plan such trips.

We all know the power of armchair travel. Many of us have fond childhood memories of reading about exotic places. The new Hawaii.com printed magazine will provide such experiences. Whether the reader has never visited Hawaii, or goes yearly, they will find something in each issue that will enhance their next – or first – Hawaii experience.

The beauty of the Hawaii.com magazine is that it is written by experts – people who live in and love the islands of Aloha. They want their readers to be their guests. And they don’t want anyone to be disappointed. So they will publish articles featuring the best that the islands have to offer. And all will be accompanied by lush photography, for what else would do justice to the wonderful views that the islands have to offer?

The first print issue will be available on March 1st. It will contain a feature story on each island, including a look at Waimea Canyon on Kauai, kayaking off Oahu, a profile of Father Damian of Molokai, Upcountry Maui, and whale watching off the Big Island with Capt. Sweeney.

The summer issue will have stories on movies shot on Kauai, discovering the fun community of Lahaina on Maui, 10 things you didn’t know about Molokai and a nifty little story on a sea horse farm.

These are the kinds of stories that you don’t find in mainland publications about the islands. These articles give you the inside view. This magazine will not only make your home look snazzy just for being there, but it will give visitors real, solid info on what to do, where and when.

Be part of Hawaii’com’s 10-year anniversary commemorated with the launch of our first print magazine. Be one of the first to order your copy and sign up for future magazines. The inaugural issue will only have 5,000 copies. Receive four quarterly issues of Hawaii.com Magazine for only $19.95! That's a 16% savings over the single issue price of $5.95.
