ANNAPOLIS RESTAURANT WEEK SHOWCASES FINE CUISINE AT AFFORDABLE PRICES

ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND--Individuals in search of great food at a reasonable price are invited to pamper their palates during Annapolis Restaurant Week, Monday through Sunday, February 15-21. Thirty-four restaurants in Historic and greater Annapolis will be offering three-course, price-fixed meal selections at a cost of $15.95 for lunch and $29.95 for dinner during the Annapolis Business Association-sponsored (ABA) event.

Event chairman Erin Brunst McNaboe says Restaurant Week provides a welcome opportunity for area residents and vacationers to treat themselves to the award winning cuisine that Maryland’s capital city is famous for. “Annapolis Restaurant Week provides the perfect excuse for getting together with family and friends for a night out of the kitchen and on the town. With so many options, they’ll want to set aside a few nights. That way, they can visit their favorite haunts and sample some new restaurants they haven’t yet experienced -- all at a very affordable price.”

Participating restaurants include: Aqua Terra, Breeze at Loews Annapolis, Buddy’s Crabs & Ribs, Café Normandie, Cantler’s Riverside Inn, Carpaccio Tuscan Kitchen, Carrol’s Creek Café, Chart House, Fado Irish Pub, Federal House Bar and Grille, Galway Bay, Harry Browne’s, Hell Point Seafood, John Barry Restaurant at the O’Callaghan Hotel, Latin Quarter, Lemongrass, Level, Luna Blu Ristorante Italiano, Lures Bar and Grille, The Main Ingredient Café, Middleton Tavern, The Melting Pot, O’Leary’s Seafood Restaurant, Pusser’s Caribbean Grille, Rams Head Tavern, Reynolds Tavern, The Rockfish, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Sam’s on the Waterfront, Severn Inn, Tsunami, Treaty of Paris at the Maryland Inn, Wild Orchid Café, and Yellowfin.

ABA invites individuals to help give back to the community by bringing a non-perishable food item with them to any of the participating restaurants during Restaurant Week. The donated items will benefit two local charities: The Light House Shelter and We Care & Friends.

Contact information for each of the participating restaurants can be found at www.AnnapolisRestaurantWeek.com. The menus are being posted online as they become available. Advance reservations are encouraged. For more information, contact Erin Brunst McNaboe at emcnaboe@ramsheadtavern.com.

Back for its second year, Annapolis Restaurant Week is being made possible in part by: Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce, Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Conference and Visitors Bureau, Bay Weekly, Capital-Gazette Newspapers, Comcast, Idle Time Advertising, Katcef, OpenTable.com, Sysco, Taste of the Bay Magazine, and 103.1 WRNR Radio.
