2008 - A Year to Celebrate!

The Years Just Roll By When You’re Having This Much Fun!

It’s like that saying about fine wine. Trusted Adventures companies just keep getting better and better with age! And that’s a good thing when you are trying to choose which operator or outfitter you want to spend your valuable vacation time with next year. Longevity breeds experience and know-how and when you consider the minimum age of a Trusted Adventures company is now 20 years, you can count on having a quality experience.

2008 is a banner year for a number of our members and we’d like to congratulate them for their perseverance and enthusiasm over the past decades. Why not join them for a year worth celebrating!

So, I decided from that moment on that "authenticity" in travel doesn't mean native people should be expected to dress differently or put on a performance, but rather be given the opportunity to be themselves so that hosts and guests can share an honest reflection of life, past, present and our individual hopes for the future."  Photo: Kurt Kutay

The Wayfarers is also celebrating 25 years of walking the rural countryside. Here are some amusing anecdotes from founder Christopher Hague…
