BostonUSA Tours: Boston Duck Tours Offer Holiday Season Tours for 1st time; Old Town Trolley to offer Chocolate Trolley Tour beginning January 12, 2008;                                                                                                    The GBCVB is happy to announce, Boston Duck Tours will offer its one hour and twenty minute tour (weekends only, until December 23, 2007 from 10am until 3pm) during the holiday season. 2. Performance Update: RENT: Annie: American Repertory Theatre to perform in Hong Kong Arts Festival ’08 ; Chinese New Year performance at Opera House Boston January; longest running performance of Black Nativity

American Repertory Theatre of Cambridge will perform its signature production  ‘Orpheus X’ at the 36th Hong Kong Arts Festival ’08 on Feb. 21-23, 2008. “Orpheus X “ is a finalist in the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for Drama & this is its Asian premiere. .. RENT, featuring Heinz Winckler & Anwar Robinson, returns to Boston’s Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre for a one-week engagement, January 8-13, 2008. This marks RENT’s 7th visit to BostonANNIE, is back in a 30th anniversary tour, returns to Boston’s Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre for a one-week engagement, March 25 - 30, 2008….  The Chinese New Year Spectacular performance at Opera House Boston is set for January 11, 2008. This production features a professional cast of over 100 dancers, musicians, and vocalists performing against a state-of-the-art background projection of dynamic scenery and multilingual lyrics accompanied by a live full-size orchestra ; Boston stages America’s longest running performance of “Black Nativity,” the  Harlem Renaissance poet Langston Hughes' song-play. The inspiring gospel music event  opens next week at Converse Hall on Tremont Street.

 

3. New Hotel News: Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel: The new 21-floor, 456- room, Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel, will open in January 2008. The newest addition to Boston Harbor, the hotel is now accepting reservations for February 11, 2008 and beyond. Its landmark seafood restaurant- Georges Bank Bistro- will open in January 2008.
