BOSTON, MASS. - (October 6, 2009) - As the chill of autumn approaches, the Fireplace Butlers at Taj Boston are readying the landmark hotel's wood-burning fireplaces for the opening of Fireside Season on October 15. Guest suites and several executive meeting rooms at the hotel at Arlington and Newbury streets overlooking the Public Garden feature the welcoming fireplaces, which include complimentary services of a Fireplace Butler, who will lay and light your preferred wood fire until April 1, 2010.

New this year is the offer of an in-suite "Fireside Tailgate" for all sports fans who wish to enjoy the coziest of creature comforts while their team plays, and the Fireside Dining event planner, who will arrange every detail for your private fireside event in a residential-style townhouse-inspired space.

At Taj Boston, you can enjoy an in-room "tailgate" from October 15 through April 1 complete with a delectable chef-prepared picnic and beverages as you lounge by the wood-burning fire and watch your game of choice on your 42-inch flat screen television.
