Luxury Resort Unveils Package with Unique Ways to Experience the Season’s Colorful Vistas

BRETTON WOODS, NH (September 30, 2009) -- Nestled in the stunning White Mountains of New Hampshire, the Omni Mount Washington Resort is known as one of the most picturesque spots to experience the vibrant colors of autumn.  As the colorful tapestry rapidly unfolds, visitors can now book the storied all-season resort’s “Fall Colors” package, offering spectacular views of the season’s foliage, luxury accommodations, daily breakfast, a private carriage ride and a special welcome gift.

The resort also features several other unique ways to enjoy the spectacular seasonal changes.  More adventurous nature lovers can experience the Bretton Woods Canopy Tour, one of the most spectacular in the U.S., comprised of ten zip lines, two suspension bridges, hiking and even rappelling deep in the forests of Bretton Woods.  The tour features experienced Adventure Guides trained as naturalists who provide information about the local flora and fauna.  Golf aficionados can enjoy the colorful landscape and cooler temperatures on the resort’s championship golf courses. The 18-hole Mount Washington Course, originally designed by legendary Scottish architect Donald Ross, was recently restored to the specifications of the original plans with the help of noted golf architect Brian Silva.  The property also offers the nine-hole Mount Pleasant Course.  Visitors who would like to take in the scenery at a more relaxed pace can enjoy the breathtaking views offered at the recently opened 25,000-square-foot Spa at the Omni Mount Washington Resort featuring a new series of signature treatments based on the resort’s sustainability mission and herb garden.

The “Fall Colors” package is available through October 28th with rates starting at $175.00 per person, per night, based on double occupancy.  The golf facility remains open through October 22nd.  For more information about the “Fall Colors” package or to make reservations, call 1-888-THE-OMNI or visit the OmniMountWashingtonResort.com.
