Ghost Story Contest Slated for the Second Annual

The Second Annual Northeast Storytelling Festival scheduled for September 21 - 23 will sponsor the first challenge to all ghost storytellers during an Evening of Ghostly Tales.  The audience will be the judges when the contestants tell their 5 to 7 minute tales on Friday evening, September 21 at 9:30 PM.  The top three winners will be featured at An Evening of Ghostly Tales on Saturday night, September 22 at 10:30 PM in the candlelit Festival tent.

The Northeast Storytelling Festival will feature nationally known and regional tellers, including Carmen Deedy, Bil Lepp, Dovie Thomason and Ed Stivender.  The Festival also includes a Liar’s Contest, also open to amateur tellers everywhere, a Friday night olio (when all the storytellers tell a tale), shows throughout the day and evening Saturday and inspirational stories on Sunday morning.

The Northeast Storytelling Festival is scheduled for September 21 - 23, 2007 at The Gettysburg Village Stores at the intersection of Route 15 and the Baltimore Pike in Gettysburg, PA.  The Festival tent will be erected next to the Country Inn and Suites by Davidson.
