New “Expedition TOMCAR” to be Unveiled During 2nd Annual Fall Festival

 

 

 

FARMINGTON, Pa., September 1, 2009 -- Nemacolin Woodlands Resort announces the exciting launch of Expedition TOMCAR during the 2nd Annual Fall Festival held at the property October 8th – 12th. For thrill seekers, this latest attraction at Nemacolin’s Adventure Center offers extreme off-road driving on wooded trails and rough terrain. Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is situated on 3,000 wooded acres in the Laurel Highlands of Southwestern Pennsylvania, 70 miles from Pittsburgh. Nemacolin offers diverse six lodging accommodations including the AAA Five Diamond Falling Rock boutique hotel as well as activities and amenities for all ages.

 

The Nemacolin Adventure Center delivers heart pumping activities for the well conditioned athlete and first timers alike. The latest adrenaline rush, to be unveiled during Nemacolin’s Fall Festival, is Expedition TOMCAR. TOMCAR all-terrain vehicles were originally created for military use and feature strong, fully-welded steel tube chassis and heavy duty four-wheel independent suspension. These vehicles are designed to be safe, rugged and extremely dependable. Demo rides will be included in the price of admission to the Fall Festival. Thereafter 1/2 hour Demo Rides will cost $80/per vehicle and one hour Instructional Series will $200/per vehicle. Warning: You may get muddy!

 

“Fall is a beautiful time of year in the Laurel Highlands. This year’s Fall Festival has a fantastic schedule of events, music and outdoor activities for the whole family,” said Trey Matheu, General Manager of Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. “And, because we always want our guests to experience something new with each return visit, we’re unveiling the new Expedition TOMCAR which is an exhilarating adventure.”

 

The Fall Festival weekend begins on Thursday October 8th with festivities through Monday, October 12. Radio partner, FROGGY FM, will broadcast live from the Adventure Center at Nemacolin on Saturday, October 10th from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Fans can come out and meet their favorite on-air personality and register to win prizes from Froggy and Nemacolin. It's a day full of live music, adventure sports, home brewed beers, craft fairs, family activities and much more!

 

Experience Nemacolin’s newest attractions and this celebration by taking advantage of the “Fall Festival Package.” Starting at $695, this package includes two nights of luxurious accommodations and admission to the Fall Festival.
