THE PIERRE CREATES THE GIN-GIN TO CELEBRATE "FASHION'S NIGHT OUT-NYC" ON SEPTEMBER 10

08-14-2009

Kick off Fashion Week by Kicking Up Your Heels at Two E, The Pierre's New Bar/Lounge

NEW YORK (August 13, 2009) - Slip on your fiercest heels and slip into Two E for a refreshing new cocktail, the Gin Gin: fresh cucumber juice, fresh mint, Hendrick's gin, and Canton Ginger liqueur garnished with a cucumber wheel. As with all Two E's cocktails, the price is $14 and includes hors d'oeuvres of shaved Reggiano Parmesan cheese, Niçoise olives and crispy chips.

Two E's head bartender, Jesse Torres, created the cocktail in homage to Fashion's Night Out* the first evening of Fashion Week and a global initiative to promote retail and celebrate fashion in 14 fashion capitals around the world. The Pierre sits at the crossroads of Manhattan's shopping meccas, Fifth Avenue and Madison, where stores participating in Fashion's Night Out will stay open late to showcase engaging and entertaining in-store events. Stop by Two E (open till 1 am) on September 10 and order the refreshing cucumber-mint Gin-Gin and we'll gift you with the recipe and a take-home sampler so you can recreate the drink at home.

* American Vogue has joined with NYC & Company, The City of New York and The Council of Fashion Designers of America to create Fashion's Night Out with retailers offering inventive window displays, limited edition items, makeovers, and model and celebrity appearances. For more information, visit
