DALLAS, July 21, 2009 – Summer deals are heating up with the Summer Playground campaign at Kimpton’s Hotel Palomar Dallas.  In addition to fun summer freebies and activities, the hotel is now offering guests the opportunity to hula hoop for a 50 percent discount or room upgrade. From now until Labor Day, guests at Kimpton’s Hotel Palomar Dallas will also enjoy complimentary amenities and playful summer-themed offerings such as sangria and games at wine hour, in addition to being able to book a special value-added Summer Playground package.

Summer Playground offerings at Kimpton’s Hotel Palomar Dallas until September 7, 2009 include:

  • Hoop! There It Is:  Get into the summer groove and hula hoop for a minute to receive a 50% discount, or hula hoop for just 20 seconds for a free room upgrade (at check-in, based on availability).
  • Sangria Happy Hour:  Sip, sing and snack with complimentary summer sangria and Blythe Bites from Central 214 Executive Chef Blythe Beck, while listening to summer-themed tunes at daily wine hour.
  • Game On: Get competitive with summertime games at wine hour, such as a virtual Wii golf, baseball or tennis games.
  • Play Dirty or Play Nice: Pick your fun with Play Dirty “Temptation” and Play Nice “Honey Kiss” cocktails, available for purchase at Central 214 restaurant.
