KA'ANAPALI, MAUI, Hawaii (JUNE 22, 2009) – This summer Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa makes a vacation more enticing and affordable for AAA/CAA members traveling to Maui, Hawaii. In addition to receiving the AAA discount of 35 percent, AAA guests at the resort HOenjoy complimentary full breakfast daily and a one category view type upgrade with this Hyatt 2009 Summer AAA Promotion. The offer is valid through September 30, 2009 and open to all AAA/CAA members. To be eligible for complimentary breakfast for two each day of the stay and the additional savings from the Hyatt Daily Rate, AAA members must use the BREAKF offer code when making their reservations.

“We are delighted to offer specials to those still planning vacations to Hawaii this summer,” said General Manager Michael Jokovich.  “With airline prices greatly reduced and extra amenities offered at our resort, combined with tightening budgets, this offer provides extra value.”

The signature breakfast menu at Hyatt offers healthy and organic options and incorporates new and classic breakfast menu items, including a zucchini and cheese frittata; a ham, egg, and white cheddar panini; and steel cut oatmeal with roasted fruit.

Kids will find the Keiki Lagoon a favorite – a 3,000-square foot pool surrounded by sand, a 25-foot slide, as well as turtles that are painted so realistically, they look like authentic sea creatures. At 18-inches deep with a sandy shore, lava rocks and mist, Keiki Lagoon is an ocean-like playground kids adore. A sand covered island sits at the center of the pool, amidst leaping water fountains that spout up to 10 feet high and tide pools.

In addition, the resort’s Camp Hyatt allows kids indoor and outdoor activities on property such as lei making, learning the hula, Hawaiian games, coconut bowling, fishing, picture taking, stories and crafts, building sand castles on Ka’anapali Beach, creating a scrapbook, taking a Wildlife Tour of the resort’s exotic birds, and more.

NOTE: The AAA savings is off the Hyatt Daily Rate at Hyatt Hotels & Resorts for the room type requested at the time of booking. Rate is per room, per night.  In order to receive free breakfast, guests must request a reservation under offer code BREAKF.
