Crab Net Kids Program at the Tides Inn

IRVINGTON, VA (June 4, 2009) - Make your family vacation a Chesapeake Bay tradition at the Tides Inn, a waterfront resort in the charming Virginia river town of Irvington. Canoes, kayaks and paddle boats make it easy to get out on the water, and the resort offers complimentary bicycles so families can pedal into town to view the Steamboat Museum, antique shops and a weekly farmers' market. The Inn's popular children's program, Crab Net Kids, is included, as is unlimited golf, tennis, and daily breakfast.

Crab Net Kids
This daily, supervised program is overseen by the resort's "Fun Team" for kids ages 4-12 and provides a safe and engaging environment for them to explore their talents and interests through activities, games and crafts. Camp themes change weekly, from Captain Hook's Pirates one week to Space Invaders the next. Ongoing activities include crabbing, croquet, swimming, sand sculpting, scavenger hunts, nature exploration and much more. Daily access is provided free of charge with our Family Package, below.
