Gay-Owned Businesses Offer Special Packages, Promotions and Discounts

 

   NEW YORK, April 3, 2009 – This June marks the 40th anniversary of perhaps the most pivotal event to spur the international gay rights movement: the Stonewall Riots in New York City.  To commemorate this watershed event in battling persecution, a number of gay- and lesbian-owned properties and businesses around New York State (www.iloveny.com) are offering packages and promotions in honor of the brave individuals who stood up against prejudice and hatred in 1969.

Americana Vineyards and Winery – Interlaken, NY

ECCE Bed and Breakfast – Barryville, NY

The Stonewall 40th Anniversary Package includes anniversary champagne with a souvenir glass, in-room snacks and beverages a celebratory guest reception and a complimentary Mimosa or Bloody Mary at breakfast when guests mention the Stonewall anniversary.  Weekday rates are $200-$245 plus tax and weekend rates are $245- $285 plus tax with a two-night minimum based on double occupancy.
