ST MARTIN, March 16, 2009 – The new Radisson St Martin Resort, Marina & Spa, which opened December 2008, has unveiled two distinctive vacation packages to attract geotourists seeking authentic experiences that support the island’s local culture and economy. ·      Daily breakfast at Le Marché, a market-style restaurant featuring a brick oven and rotisserie

·      Choice of one of the resort’s signature Guest Enrichment activities, which includes French lessons, French-Caribbean cooking classes or St Martin rum tastings

·      Champagne upon arrival

The seven-night Gourmet Getaway package begins at 3,595 € (approximately USD $4,555*) and includes three dinners at Grande Case, two dinners at C Le Restaurant, daily breakfast, two Guest Enrichment activities, accommodations and champagne upon arrival.

Diving enthusiasts can enjoy the underwater world surrounding St Martin with coral reefs, resident sea turtles and abundant tropical fish just off shore. St Martin offers a variety of scenic dive sites all conveniently accessible with dive boats operating from the Radisson Marina at Anse Marcel. All scuba excursions are organized by Scuba Fun, a Professional Association of Dive Instructors (PADI) five-star dive facility located across the street from the resort.

From now through April 18, 2009, the resort is offering four to seven-night Dive St Martin packages beginning at 1,375 € (approximately USD $1,747* ) per person. Novices can even learn to dive and earn PADI open water certification.
