Five-Star Les Airelles Hotel Undergoes a $31 Million Renovation

Courchevel, France- November 7, 2007 - Long known for its old world charm and beautiful setting nestled in the heart of the Jardin Alpin in the French Alps, the five-star Hotel de Charme Les Airelles has recently undergone a extensive renovation reclaiming its throne as one of the most exclusive ski resorts in the world. Designed in the spirit the grand chalets of the past, it is ideally situated at the foothills of the mountain with
effortless access to the pistes via Gloriette and the Relais des Skieurs.

The $31 million renovation includes a new wing with luxurious suites in alpine-style décor, in addition to refurbishments to all its guestrooms totaling 47 rooms, 12 suites; a new Pierre Gagnaire for Les Airelles restaurant; redesign to the classic La Table du Jardin Alpin; additions to the Valmont for Les Airelles Spa and launch of the new Valmont hair care system, and a new ice rink lending charm to this old-world retreat.

The newly expanded 9,100 square-foot Valmont Pour Les Airelles Spa, features new water falls, indoor and outdoor whirlpool baths, a snow cave, a scented jet shower, a fruit juice and herb tea bar, five soundproof booths with a shower and one with a balneo and solarium. Guest will find the latest generation fitness room, a team of physiotherapists, a beautician, a hairdresser, all outfitted with redesigned spaces.

In addition, Valmont is launching their new hair repair treatment system that will be available exclusively in the Valmont Pour Les Airelles Spa. The hair care line includes hair repair shampoo, mask, moisturizing/nourishing oil, serum, and a revitalizing cure made to order for all types of distressed hair.

The new Pierre Gagnaire for Les Airelles Restaurant will serve a unique culinary experience under the helm of star chef Pierre Gagnaire, ranked among the best in the world. The stunning 28-seat restaurant is styled in a Sissi décor with majestic views of he the slopes. Hermès china, Puiforcat silverware and glassware from et Cristal Saint-Louis, add luxury and style to the table settings. And to complete the rich and exclusive atmosphere, the Gallery Lelong in Paris will provide art pieces on loan.

The redesigned La Table du Jardin Alpin restaurant specializes in gastronomic French cuisine. The restaurant's new spaces open onto the sunny valley that has direct access from the pistes via Gloriette and the Relais des Skieurs. Guests can expect a warm welcome on the terrace with mulled wine, cold buffet, roasted meats and their famous dessert buffet.

To add to the cozy atmosphere of the Coin Savoyard, with its small lace curtains, old fir tree wood and stained glass windows, the restaurant has included a large stone fireplace. Guests can taste specialties from the region such as exceptional cheeses and meats that can be cooked directly on the wood fire.
