This festival is exclusive to MRT participants and limited to only one hundred and fifty guests.

Now in its seventh year, the 2009 "Rhine Valley Music Festival" has an outstanding line-up of artists including: Andreas Scholl , Stephan Loges , Natalie Clein, The Basel Chamber Orchestra, The Baden-Baden Philharmonic, Cantus CÖlln, The Amphion Octet and The Freiburg Baroque Orchestra. The concert venues take place in the finest historical buildings, castles, and churches along the route, in the German towns of Baden-Baden, Speyer, Namedy, Schloss Mannheim, Neustadt an Der Weinstrasse, and Freiburg. While the concerts are the highlight of the trip, there will also be free time allocated to explore some of the lovely towns and villages along the Rhine.

The MS Helvetia II, the ship that will house guests for the entire trip, is one of the most modern and comfortable passenger ships on European waters.   Acting as both hotel and transportation, it enables festival guests to attend all the concerts on land, as well as see some of the finest art and architecture in the region without having to change hotels.

The festival also features talks by a historian and a musicologist.

Prices range from £2,660 to £3,490 (British pounds) per person, based on cabin category, and include admission to all seven private concerts, roundtrip air from London, Manchester or Birmingham, accommodations for seven nights on board a first-class riverboat, all meals (wine included with lunch and dinner), lectures, all bus transfers, and all tips and taxes. Single occupancy rates are also available.

Also offered, a six-day pre-festival art tour in Switzerland from May 19-24, 2009. Switzerland possesses some of the finest of the smaller art collections in Europe, with the French Impressionists and Post Impressionists particularly prominent.

Martin Randall Travel is the pioneer and leader in the phenomenon of all-inclusive music festivals. The key feature is matching music with place – putting music in appropriate historic buildings, with concerts, which are private to participants.
