Hawaiian Resorts UNITE TO HELP LOCAL AUTISM ORGANIZATION

WAILEA, MAUI, HAWAII ­ October 30, 2007 ­ In light of the Thanksgiving Day
holiday, Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa and Capricorn Events are giving
back to a local charity. For the month of November, $1 out of each paid
admission from Waileaıs only luau dinner show, HonuaOEula, will be donated to
Autism Bridges, a Maui organization that provides support for families who
have children with autism. Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spaıs general
manager, John Jaskula and Capricorn Events president, Mike Kelley, have
partnered to make the contribution for the entire month of November. In
addition, Marriottıs Maui Ocean Club will pitch in with a donation of
$2,000.

Capricorn Events and Marriottıs Maui Ocean Club for joining our efforts,²
said John Jaskula, general manager of Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa.
³The entire Wailea Beach Marriott ohana empathizes with the hardships
families endure when taking care of an autistic child. We would like to
recognize our own associate Rob Welch for the work he is doing both in the
community and with his own family.²
 
Welch, who is general manager of Marriottıs Maui Ocean Club, has a son who
has autism, a brain development disorder that affects a childıs interaction
and communication skills. Welch and his wife Tiffany have been very active
in the autism community.
 
HonuaOEula presents the only luau dinner and production in the luxury Wailea
destination. Performances are oceanfront every Monday, Thursday, Friday and
Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. on the ancient Ahupuaıa (land division)
known as Paeahu (Altar Landing) which houses a kuıula stone (fishing shrine)
on the makai side of the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa.
 
HonuaOEula is filled with tales about how ancient Hawaiians brought the
island of Maui to life, told through traditional chants, halau trained hula
and creative, authentic costuming. Guests will also experience ancestral
games and crafts, and enjoy classic Hawaiian cuisine with a luau-style
buffet, featuring island favorites such as sautéed island fish,  kalua pig
and poi. Rates are $85 for adults and $42 for children 6-12 years old.

Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, which offers the best oceanfront

ocean view deluxe couples suite, or an oceanfront cabana located on the
oceanıs edge. The spa also offers a full-service salon with facilities for
hair, make-up and nail services. Plus, a state-of-the-art 2,100 square-foot
fitness center is located adjacent to Mandara Spa.
 
For additional guest enjoyment, the highly anticipated ³Maluhia² Serenity
pool with over-the-water cabanas is being built on the expansive oceanfront
Molokini Lawn area and is scheduled for completion in late 2007.
