Super Hotel Deals and Visitor Value Offers Promote Off-Season Travel

SEATTLE – Seattle Super Saver Value Season returns this fall and winter, offering some of the city’s most competitive hotel rates in conjunction with value offers at top visitor attractions, restaurants, retail shops, tour and transportation companies and more.

A few examples of special rates and packages being offered this Seattle Super Saver value season include a $198 rate plus complimentary parking at Hotel Ändra and for the dates of Nov. 23-27 and Dec. 21-26, the Pan Pacific Hotel Seattle will start its rates at $119 for Seattle Super Saver patrons. The Mayflower Park Hotel, in the heart of downtown Seattle, is partnering with Seattle Super Saver to promote its Holiday Shopper’s Package on Friday and Saturday nights. The rate for a Classic Guestroom on those nights is $169, single or double occupancy, through Dec. 30.

Patrons can book hotels online via a robust booking engine that quickly and easily surveys a wide array of hotels, room types, rates, packages and special value-added offers.  The web site also features maps and other tools that assist with property selection and booking. Patrons can also book hotels by calling a toll-free reservation line. Reservationists inspect all participating hotels in person and can advise of features and location and provide sightseeing information and recommendations as needed.

“What makes Seattle Super Saver a success is the high degree of customer service we are able to offer.  The program offers package of benefits including no booking or hidden fees, no pre-payments and no cancellation fees prior to 24 hours before check in,” said Tom Norwalk, SCVB President & CEO. “Our reservations team is local, knows Seattle and the region and loves to be of service.”

Online bookings can be made at www.seattlesupersaver.com.  Alternatively, travelers within the U.S. and Canada can reserve the program toll free by calling (800) 535-7071; from outside the U.S. and Canada, the number to call is (206) 461-5882. Reservation lines are open 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Pacific Time), Monday through Friday.

Beginning November 1, the Seattle Super Saver hotel booking program, operated year-around by Seattle’s Convention and Visitors Bureau (SCVB), will provide patrons a complimentary value guide upon check-in that features more than 50 value offers that range from percentile discounts to two-for-one deals.

“Seattle attractions, merchants, restaurants and other businesses are excited to join us in promoting Seattle’s high season for arts and entertainment, and to offer a bonus to travelers during hard economic times,” said Norwalk.

The Seattle Super Saver Value Guide is valid through March 31, 2009.
