The "Haunted Columbus's Best of 20 Years Bus Tour," which includes the very "best" haunted sites in the city, including your host hotel, The Lofts.   The Haunted Columbus tour features ghostly "Lady of the Lofts," and begins at 7 pm on the night of guests' arrival.  From sightings common in the 19th century, to poltergeist activity, to just plain creepy places where orbs are picked up on cell phones, the tour not only includes haunted sites, but features some of the city's best architecture as well.

Reportedly, a woman's husband was killed in a dreadful warehouse accident in the Lofts building when it was a plumbing supply house in the early 1900s. Spotted by hotel associates in stairwells, hallways and in the basement, The "Lady of the Lofts" ghost is believed to be the widow of that unfortunate fellow.  She's described as a woman in her late 20s, bearing a sad countenance and wearing a long Victorian-style dress and has been spotted by dozens of employees, guests and s suppliers.

"Several of our staff members have reported seeing the 'Lady of the Lofts'," said The Lofts Hotel General Manager, Kathryn Burton, adding "I've even seen her myself on several occasions. She is in no way a frightening spirit, but rather a protective presence that seems to have a sense of ownership to the building and those who work in it." Because of her first-hand encounters with the "Lady of the Lofts," Burton will lead the portion of the tour that begins at The Lofts Hotel.

The only hotel of its kind, The Lofts Hotel was created in an 1882 historic registry building that was once a plumbing supply warehouse. Located in the heart of downtown Columbus, Ohio's exciting Arena District and the trendy Short North arts district, the hotel's 44 dazzling hotel rooms mirror urban loft apartments.  The Lofts Hotel features soaring 15-foot ceilings, exposed brick beams and duct work, floor-to-ceiling windows and New York Subway tile-covered bathrooms.  With no two rooms alike, The Lofts' unusually large rooms offer luxurious touches, generous work space, Touhy executive chairs, two-line phones and complimentary in-room high-speed internet access.
