(May 21, 2008) – Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2008, World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Fla., home to the World Golf Hall of Fame, invites visitors to join in the fun when the destination commemorates its decade-long anniversary.  The new “Celebrating 10” offer gives guests an exclusive vacation package full of golf, food and fun—and lots of $10 gift cards—creating a “ten”sion-free golf vacation for 2008.

With “Celebrating 10” guests can enjoy three days and two nights of accommodations at the newly renovated Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village.  The hotel’s impressive $10 million renovation includes completely remodeled guest rooms and suites, a newly designed lobby atrium, a brand new restaurant and bar, and more, providing guests with the ultimate in comfort and respite.  As a guest of the Renaissance, visitors also will have privileges at the exclusive Serenata Beach Club, which provides access to miles of Atlantic beaches and much more.

“Celebrating 10” also features two rounds of golf at World Golf Village’s championship golf courses, King & Bear and Slammer & Squire – both design collaborations by four World Golf Hall of Fame members.  

Vacationing guests will receive tickets and a one-year membership to the World Golf Hall of Fame which celebrates the lives and careers of golf’s greatest players and contributors through an extensive collection of golf memorabilia, artifacts, photography, video and personal mementos.  The Hall of Fame is featuring the critically-acclaimed special exhibition, “Jack Nicklaus: Golf’s Golden Champion” through 2008, which offers a comprehensive look at the Golden Bear’s successful career in golf and life.  They can continue their experience by taking in a film at the World Golf Hall of Fame IMAX® Theater, adjacent to the museum.  

The “Celebrating 10” package starts at $525 per person at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village, based on double occupancy.  The package is available from May 19, 2008 through Dec. 31, 2008 and taxes and service charges are not included. Additional room nights, spa treatments at PGA TOUR Spa Laterra, rounds of golf and lessons at the PGA TOUR Golf Academy can be added.
