Introducing Nathan Wittkamp
Austin Lehman Adventures is pleased to announce that Nathan Wittkamp has joined the ALA Team. Nathan joins the Team knowing full well he will be wearing many hats. His official title (if there is such a thing at ALA) is Sales Team and Operations Assistant Director.

Nathan has traveled extensively to many of the destinations where ALA offers tours as well as off the beaten path. He's spent the last several years managing food distribution programs in Sudan and Honduras. Learn more about Nathan and view photos from his travels here > >
Summer Trips Going Fast - Fun Fall Trips Available
We've entered the 'busy season' here at ALA. Summer trips are filling up quickly, with many Alaska, Costa Rica, and Yellowstone departures filled. Limited availability remains on summer trips, so act fast. Carol Austin is happy to help you book the perfect summer vacation. View trips by schedule (June) > >

Look to the fall for a wide array of vacation options. From Utah to Peru or Arizona to South Africa, we'll help you plan an ideal getaway. Autumn is the perfect season in which to explore America's Southwest. The lands are cooling from the summer heat and the temperature is perfect for outdoor pursuits. ALA's Facilitator of Fun: Guide Matty K
Matty has guided Austin-Lehman trips in Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Montana, Yellowstone, Tetons, Bryce-Zion, and Alaska. He's just returned from a year-long sabbatical and is celebrating his 10th anniversary with ALA. He'll be guiding trips in Montana and the Southwest this year.

Fun Facts About Matty:
  • He has skied over 100 days a year for 10 years.
  • He loves multi-day raft trips.
  • He lived out of a converted school bus for 8 years (because he was on the road with ALA for most of that time)!
  • He is an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician).
