Explore the past. Tour guides will guide you through the inner workings of a restored and operational water-powered gristmill and explain its history and the role mills played in our communities. All three floors contain displays about milling. Throughout the summer, free public open houses will be held every Sunday.

National Horseshoe Pitchers Association World Tournament -

More than 4,000 people will travel to York County for the National Horseshoe Pitchers Association World Tournament. York's selection as host signifies the first time the event will be held in Pennsylvania since 1976.The Tournament is a two-week event that will draw athletes from across the United States, Canada and other countries from around the world. A key part of York County's selection as host was based on the York Expo Center, which consistently provides a dynamic facility to attract major sporting events to the area.

Sunday Brunch Paddle Tour

Begin your Sunday morning enjoying the natural beauty of the Susquehanna River.  Our rendezvous begins with a short orientation to kayaking. Paddlers will then launch their kayaks for a leisurely paddle to the Conejohela Flats. This area of the Susquehanna River is a major migratory bird stopover on the Atlantic flyway, so you're sure to see a variety of wildlife.  The paddle is suitable for beginners and rental kayaks are available. Following the tour, adjourn to "The Rookery" for a hearty brunch.  Program includes tour, guide, and meal.
Parent & Child Paddle Tour

Here's a great way to spend time with your kids! Begin your outing with some basic kayak orientation. Launch your boats and enjoy a guided tour of the Susquehanna River.  You'll take a snack bag with you to enjoy on your paddle. Explore the streams that empty in to the river, and watch for Bald Eagles you may spot on your outing. This paddle is suitable for beginners with paddlers using double or triple seat decktop kayaks. Children 8 years and up, and parents of all ages will enjoy this program.  Fee includes tour, guide, kayak, paddles, pfd's and snack.
