EL AL ANNOUNCES SPECIAL FALL & WINTER FARES FROM MANY U.S.A. CITIES TO ISRAEL

New York, NY - October 10, 2007 - EL AL, Israel's national airline, is offering special savings on roundtrip airfares for passengers traveling from 30 cities in the U.S.A. to Israel.  Special fares are also available on EL AL nonstop flights from all U.S.A. gateway cities. EL AL is also offering travelers an incredibly low Platinum Business Class fare, as well as an attractively priced air and hotel package to Israel this season.

Travelers from a variety of cities in the U.S.A. will be able to take advantage of the low EL AL fall and winter economy class airfares in the coming months.  The roundtrip fare of $954 is available for travel to Israel when departing from Boston, Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C.; $1,089 when traveling from Denver, Dallas/Fort Worth, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Minneapolis, Orlando, West Palm Beach, Phoenix, San Antonio, St. Louis and Tampa; $1,127 when departing from Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Detroit, Memphis, Kansas City, New Orleans and Louisville; and $1,193 when traveling from Las Vegas, Seattle, San Francisco and Salt Lake City.  Passengers utilizing these fares depart from one of the above listed cities on a leading American carrier and connect to an EL AL nonstop flight to Israel.  These fares are available for travel until March 31, 2008. 

Low roundtrip fares are also available during this same time period on nonstop flights from any EL AL gateway city in the U.S.A to Israel:  $954 from New York (JFK/Newark) to Tel Aviv, $1,193 from Miami, and for $1,284 passengers can fly from Los Angeles to Israel nonstop. 

EL AL is also offering an incredibly low Platinum Business Class fare from New York (JFK/Newark) this fall and winter on select flights for just $2,977, with an advance purchase of 45 days required.  Platinum Business Class passengers enjoy spacious seating and the highest level of comfort, as well as a wide variety of in-flight entertainment options and access to the new EL AL luxurious King David Lounges at JFK Airport.  EL AL recently accepted two new Boeing state-of-the-art 777 aircraft which feature modern, spacious cabins with adjustable mood lighting.  Platinum Business Class has seats with a 62-inch pitch (reclining to a 170 degree position).  These special Business Class fares are offered to passengers departing New York (JFK/Newark) between October 21, 2007 and March 31, 2008. 

EL AL has partnered with some of the leading hotels in Israel to offer an attractively priced package that includes roundtrip air and a hotel stay of five consecutive nights with an unforgettable Israeli buffet breakfast every day. Hotels in Tel Aviv participating in the special EL AL air/hotel offer are The Carlton, The Prima and The Sheraton Moriah.  In Jerusalem, the Regency and The Inbal Hotel are available and, in Herzelia, the Daniel Hotel is also included. The Dan Panorama Hotels in Jerusalem, Haifa, and Tel Aviv as well as The Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, the Dead Sea, Haifa and Eilat are also offered.  From New York (JFK/Newark), the price of the roundtrip air/hotel/breakfast package is $1,280, from Miami $1,535 and from Los Angeles $1,629.
