Gateway, Colorado (October 2007) – This holiday season Gateway Canyons Resort is cooking up a traditional Thanksgiving feast with a Southwestern flair. Tucked away in the heart of red rock canyon country in western Colorado, the Thanksgiving Getaway package is $119 per person based on double occupancy and includes three nights accommodation in the Dolores River Inn (with option to upgrade to Kiva Lodge accomodations starting at $195 per person based on double occupancy) and Thanksgiving feast at Paradox Grille on Thursday, November 22nd.

During the day guests can tour John Brown Canyon and take in the sights of the tall red rock canyon walls, cottonwood trees and vivid blue sky via Jeep, ATV or Pinzgauer, a high mobility all terrain utility vehicle. Or take to the trails by horseback from the Summit School Riding Ranch. The Adventure Concierge Team is available to arrange for mountain bike and hiking excursions.
