“From a Vehicle You See Africa.
On Foot You Feel, Hear and Smell Africa”

At Bushcamp Company do more than see Africa. Experience a walking safari through South Luangwa National Park, where the walking safari was pioneered. Imagine tiptoeing through the bush, you hear the alarm calls from other animals echoing in the air. You’re inching towards a small clearing when your safari guide motions for you to come peak through the branches. You can see a pride of lions claiming their kill. South Luangwa is home to over 60 different mammals and 400 different species of birds spread out over 9,050 square kilometers.

Your local guide will share the secrets of the bush, how to track a leopard by identifying spoor and to soothe an insect bite with native plants.  Your safari team is made up of three members: a local guide, an armed national park escort scout, provided by the Zambian Wildlife Authority, and a tea-porter. Your tea-porter’s bag will open to produce tea and biscuits in the morning, or cold beers and gin and tonics in the evening.

Be sure to share your safari with fellow adventurist on Safarious.com, the social network for adventurers.

Secrets From Within
The Vault of Taj Cape Town

It’s no secret that Taj Cape Town used to be the South African Reserve Bank, however few know about the gems that are about to be shared. Many enjoy the selection of Fine South African Wines available in the Wine Gallery within the Lobby Lounge, few know about the secret Chef’s Table that takes place within the Wine Gallery. After the Lobby Lounge closes at 7 pm, the Chef’s Table accommodates up to 8 people. The 8 lucky guests experience amazing South African culinary delights selected to perfectly compliment the themed South African Wine of the month.

If the secret Chef’s Table wasn’t private enough for you, deep beneath the marble pillars, vaulted ceiling and glass domes of lobby still lies the bank’s vault in its basement. The vault is reminiscent of it’s past with all the safety deposit boxes intact, today though the vault plays host to dinners and small soirées only available by invitation or request whilst staying at the Taj Cape Town.
