Utah’s Moab Adventure Center Announces
New Private Custom Tours for 2013

Moab, UT, Feb. 21, 2013 – Vacation time and ideas challenged? Privacy paramount?

Moab Adventure Center in Moab, Utah, announces that new-for-2013 private custom tours for those who prefer a more intimate, custom experience are offered with a private guide to explore the Moab area exactly the way they want. Moab Adventure Center’s custom tour program now puts all of this region’s ways and means of touring at the disposal of guests who prefer private, custom experiences over preset itineraries and group travel.

“We’re finding that many guests just want to experience an adventure as a couple, with their own family or a group of friends. They may want to celebrate an anniversary atop a spectacular vista while enjoying a romantic candlelit dinner with no one around for miles, enjoy birthday cake on a riverside beach while the sun sets, take the family reunion to the next level with a private off-road Hummer adventure, or find an unimaginable setting for a proposal,” said Brandon Lake, co-founder of Moab Adventure Center. “The possibilities for amazing, custom adventures in this area are very exciting!”

Private Tours takes adventure among the red rocks beyond canyoneering and hot air ballooning. An assigned guide can arrange a private hummer tour to a remote vista ideal for a candlelit sunset dinner or reveal premier photo locations and the territory’s Native American and outlaw lore.

The hourly rate for a private Hummer tour is $350 for one hour with a driver/guide in a private 4x4 vehicle for up to eight guests; add $50 per person for an orchestrated sunrise breakfast or sunset dinner deep in the backcountry.  An hour-long Private Photography Tour is $150 for the vehicle and driver/guide.

Out on the water the rate is $600 per departure for up to six guests with a guide on a Private Stand-Up Paddle Board Adventure on the Colorado River. Included are transportation, paddleboard rental, instruction, guide, snacks and water. A Private Sunset Raft Trip showcases the spires of Castle Valley caught in the evening sun. The rate is $300 per person (2 passenger minimum).

Private Tours of Moab and Beyond are $150 an hour for a vehicle and driver/guide who reveals the most spectacular locations in Moab and nearby destinations: the habitats of dinosaurs and ancient Puebloans, the lore of outlaws and the sites of Hollywood hits such as The Lone Ranger, Mission Impossible, Star Trek, 127 Hours and City Slickers II.
