Beaver Creek, Colo.-Feb. 6, 2008— Beaver Creek is reporting 22 feet of snowfall to date this season and recorded its snowiest December and January since 1996.  Skiers and snowboarders will find snow-filled adventure, family events and steep savings in Beaver Creek this spring.  The resort is open for skiing and snowboarding through April 13, 2008.

Snowshoe Shuffle, March 2

The 15th Annual Beaver Creek Snowshoe Shuffle is one of the largest snowshoe races in North America and is expected to draw more than 1,000 participants on March 2, 2008.  The Shuffle is presented by Vail Valley Medical Center and welcomes beginner and elite snowshoe walkers and runners for 10K, 5K and one-mile events at 9,800 feet atop Beaver Creek Mountain.  Proceeds from the Shuffle go to cancer prevention, education and early detection in select Colorado mountain communities. Ski with the Pros, March 28-30

“Ski with the Pros” and test out the latest ski equipment during the SKI Magazine Experience in Beaver Creek, March 28-30, 2008.  SKI Magazine and Beaver Creek have teamed up for a second year to offer exclusive 90-minute meet and ski sessions with top Beaver Creek Ski School instructors and world-class ski professionals including A.J. Learn to Ski or Ride Package

First-time skiers and snowboarders can take advantage of steeply discounted rates with three consecutive days of group lessons and lift tickets offered for $200.  Three days of rental equipment is available to participants for an additional $65.  The First Time Series welcomes ages 15 and up and is available all winter.  Participants will find an improved beginner experience with the new Buckaroo Express Gondola serving a new learning area and customized slopes.
