MEDITERRANEAN MEMORIES" FAMILY PLAN OFFERS CRYSTAL GUESTS LUCRATIVE INCENTIVES

02-06-2008

Sail With the Family You Were Born With -- or the Family You Choose!

LOS ANGELES, February 5, 2008 - As family and multigenerational travel continues on its meteoric rise, Crystal Cruises is unveiling a "Mediterranean Memories" family package, which features a host of highly attractive amenities, including one complimentary berth accommodation for every 10 paid berths.  The program, which is available on virtually all Crystal Serenity itineraries from May 19 to October 30, also includes pre-paid gratuities for the group, $100 per person shipboard credits, one group portrait per stateroom, free third berths for guests aged 17 and under; and a $500 credit toward a Crystal Private Adventure of $2,500 or more.

"Year to year, the popularity of family and multigenerational travel continues to soar," said Bill Smith, Crystal's senior vice president, sales and marketing.  "In tandem with this growth is the changing definition of what 'family' means.  We see close-knit multigenerational families, as well as reunions, smaller family units of parents with children - and those people who view their friends as their true family."

As an additional incentive, for new bookings made by March 31, 2008, the luxury line is offering 10 percent off all verandah and non-verandah staterooms and five percent off Penthouse accommodations for virtually all of Crystal Serenity's European cruises departing May 19 through September 5.  The promotion offers savings of up to $1,650 per couple on 10 cruises leaving from Rome, Venice, Athens, Barcelona and Monte Carlo.

Crystal's luxury ships provide guests of all ages with an eclectic mix of activities and amenities - both on land and on board.  Its acclaimed children's activities and programs include a fully supervised Junior Activities Program for kids ages 17 and under on summer voyages; and Fantasia, the ship's dedicated children's playroom, which is outfitted with games, craft materials, Sony Playstation® and Xbox 360TM video games, and personal computers with entertainment and educational software.

The "Mediterranean Memories" family package applies to all Mediterranean voyages aboard Crystal Serenity, excluding the May 7 and August 24 departures, for bookings made by September 30, 2008.

Crystal Cruises' 2008 Mediterranean season features more overnight calls, including Venice, Sorrento, Monte Carlo, Istanbul and Athens, and extended time in port, as well as a maiden call in Albania.  On seven- to 12-day itineraries, guests can explore the Mediterranean's most sought after destinations in the Italian Riviera, French Riviera, Greek isles and the Dalmatian and Turkish coasts.  As many as nine different port cities in five countries are featured on a single voyage.

Crystal Serenity's Mediterranean voyages are priced from $2,995 per person, double occupancy.
